What are Yorkshire puddings?  ( Its not a Custard! its actually a savory pastry)
Yorkshire puddings were first recorded in a cookbook dated as early as 1737. They are light and savory side dish and are often referred to in old cookbooks as “A dripping pudding.” It is usually made by using the drippings or fats from different meats cooked. The rendered fat is then used in a muffin-like tin, accompanied by a pancake-like batter. They can be made sweet but are usually a savory accompaniment to heavy meals like roast pork or prime rib

What are popovers? How are they served?
Popovers are an American version of the Yorkshire pudding, and they are often topped with fruit, honey butter or jam. They can also be made savory with different herbs, spices and cheeses.   They are often served for brunch or breakfast, with tea or alongside meat dishes for dinner.
