Caribbean cooking is all about the hot sun, bold flavor, sweet heat, and a little rum. This class has all of it... well, everything except the sun.
We cook through a full menu that captures the rhythm of island cooking, then sit down together, plates full, with maybe a Red Stripe or a punch making its way around the table. Easy, relaxed, and exactly how it should be.
Create your own Caribbean spice blend, working through the foundation of a proper jerk seasoning, including traditional Scotch bonnet peppers. You control the heat. Bottle it, name it, and take it home.
Steak House Classics
In this class we help you master the steak house classics. We'll take pan-seared steak to new depths of flavor with Herb Butter-Basted Steak. You'll learn the classic techniques to make an upscale Mac & Cheese, and we'll teach you how to choose and prepare seasonal vegetables to highlight their freshness.
For dessert, you'll learn versatile techniques to make any fruit into a simple, yet satisfying make-ahead dessert.
